Community Members are Reminded to Take Time for Self-Care

With all that is going on in the world and in your own life, some days might feel heavy or even painful.

It is normal – healthy in fact – to have feelings about what we are seeing, hearing, and experiencing.

For your health and well-being, it’s important to set aside time for self-care. 

You may already know what types of self-care work best for you, and if you don’t then now is a great time to learn.

The University of Michigan has some great tips for self-care here, and in Alberta, you can find resources for hard days here.

Remember, self-care and wellness is not about being perfect. This is an exercise in consistency and being intentional about looking after yourself.
